Habits and strategies of the world's most successful female leaders
‘The future is female’ says a famous slogan of our days, in a world, where women fight for the rights and get more and more accepted in every aspect of life.
Of course we are not saying that men are less important, but the tendency of women gaining power is also changing our lifestyle in major ways.
So if you want to join the powerful female leaders or at least learn from them, here is the perfect opportunity. We have collected some of the things influential women do in order to stay respected.
Of course there is no doubt how important outlooks are. ‘Dress the part’ is a motto every woman should have written on her wardrobe. In a professional environment always look smart, feminine and self-confident. Choose your clothing wisely, according to your physical qualities. You cannot go wrong with a black dress, a navy skirt and a white blouse.
The way you start your day is a crucial point when it comes to the evaluation of quality. Start early and with a positive mindset. Don’t rush. Try to do some kind of simple exercise, or even better, meditation before you even get ready. Eat enough and eat healthy. See the morning routine as a gift to yourself, as an hour (or more) of me-time.
Believe in karma, because it always works. So act kind and helping towards others. Co-workers, family members and even staff at your local grocery store. You will see magic instantly unfolding itself in front of your eyes.
Be active. And not just physically, (which is of course equally important) but also mentally. Be a person, who makes the first step. Approach new people with confidence, be open to others, feel curious. Networking is something we cannot live without in our personal lives or even in our careers. Don’t be lazy, if you have an idea, act and see if it works, you cannot loose anything.
Listen and speak up. It is very important that you say what is on your mind but are also open to issues of others. By doing so you will be more appreciated by others and will also know about every issue that might go on behind the scenes.
Always be true to yourself and never try to be anyone else, firstly because it is impossible and secondly because comparing yourself to others creates unnecessary stress. Insecurities are normal, the question is only how you handle them. So next time you see someone, who is better looking, richer, funnier or simply more successful than you, feel grateful for them and see them as your own personal teacher.
Stay flexible. Of course you can (and should) make plans for the near and far future but also give a little space for the unpredictable. If you are open to change and learn to let go easily, you will find that it reduces anxiety and can take you on completely new paths.
